EAST-COMM announced its Athletes of the Month for the month of February on Thursday morning. Keenan Robertson of Suffolk Mellon Men's Basketball and Jensen Ritter of Monmouth Women's Swimming & Diving took the awards.

EAST-COMM recognizes one male and female student-athlete from its member schools every month. Sports Information Directors of EAST-COMM member schools were able to nominate one male and female student-athletes from their respective institutions following outstanding athletic performances in the month of February.

Robertson was heroic for the Rams in February by helping lead the team to a Conference of New England (CNE) Championship Game appearance. In 10 games during the month, Robertson averaged 27.5 points per game behind shooting a sizzling 98-of-162 (.605) from the field and 24-of-44 (.545) from three-point range. Robertson also shot 72.7 percent from the free throw line while averaging 5.9 rebounds per game and 3.0 assists per game. He was a two-time CNE Men's Basketball Player of the Week in February while earning himself a spot on the D3hoops.com Team of the Week on February 18th. Robertson was named the CNE Tournament Most Outstanding Player after averaging 33.7 points in the tournament behind a valiant 36-point effort against Western New England in the title game.

Ritter turned in an outstanding performance for the Hawks at the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Championships in February. She was integral to Monmouth breaking five school records at the CAA Championships. Ritter broke the individual records in the 200 butterfly (2:01.06) and won the bronze medal. She followed by breaking records in the 100 fly (55.11) and the 500 free (4:54.73). Ritter capped her Championship performance by being a member of the Hawks relay teams that broke the records in the 800 free relay (7:34.79) and 400 free relay (3:27.36).
